"Diamonds" by Rihanna is one of my favorite songs at the moment. I saw this cover version by Joel Brandenstein (on piano and vocals) and Jona Selle (on cello and vocals) and was intrigued by the fact that it was being performed by two guys backed up by just a cello, a piano, and a guitar. Who would have thought?

I particularly love how the cello is being played from 3:03 to 3:34. I
also think it's great how the Jona can actually sing while playing the cello. (Not that it's easy to sing while playing the piano but it's just less common to see cellists who sing while they play. :)) Great version and ingenious and compelling instrumentation.
