Liverpool FC knock Manchester City out of the Carling Cup, booking a finals spot against Cardiff in Wembley, then promptly eliminates Manchester United from the FA Cup shortly after. With Liverpool still hovering over 6th and 7th place in the Barclays Premiere League, it's pretty good that they beat the current top two teams. Now if they could only channel their Cup winning ways and translate it to victories in the league...
